The work of both artists and scientists is enriched by encounters with approaches
and ideas that are different from their own. This session presented a series of six
very different approaches and ideas by artists and scientists engaged in the UCD
Science artist in residence programme. Moderated by Lorraine Hanlon, Professor
of Astrophysics and co-founder of UCD Art In Science, the intention of this
event was to stimulate new connections, ideas and inspirational partnerships.
This talk was organised as part of the programme of events for the exhibition Welcome Disturbances – a joint partnership between UCD Art In Science and Dublin City Council The LAB.
